This past year has produced an exceptional amount of great material in the world of music videos. Because of YouTube and mobile devices, music videos are finding a new audience away from MTV. Big names and small names alike are building strength and churning out great work. They are finding a new way to express and sell their music because the technology has improved… and becoming more affordable and accessible.
There are many greats, but I’ll limit my list to a top 6. It should be noted that this list contains more than it’s fair share of big name pop divas… Could it be any other way?

#5: OK, number 5 is a four-way tie. I’m a cheat, I get it. Hear me out… I wanted to include a Lady Gaga video; I’m a big fan but I’m not obsessed. I just respond very strongly to her videos. So out of complete indecision I have included four. I hope you’ve noticed that I did leave out Marry The Night. This was on purpose.
